Invite nature inside with a beautiful wooden lamp from our Value for money range. Wood can bring calm and airiness to a room, and the classic material has always played a major role in Scandinavian interior design in particular, often for the very same reason. In a monochrome office, a small wooden table lamp can make all the difference, and in the living room and kitchen, a wooden floor lamp or pendant can provide the warmth your space needs. The versatile material has many shades, and depending on the type of wood you choose, you can achieve very different looks. Birch, beech and ash, for example, are light coloured woods that give a light and airy look. Oak, mahogany and walnut give calm and warmth with its dark expression. See our selection below.
Of course, we also have many wooden lamps outside this range!
With a wooden lamp, you get a beautiful product that adds cosiness, warmth, air and life to your home. Wooden lamps come in all shapes and sizes, and whether it's a wooden floor lamp, ceiling lamp, table lamp or pendant, we're sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for in our selection. We stock lamps in both solid wood and laminate and in all price ranges.
Wooden lamps are an easy and extremely elegant way to introduce life into the room. Wood, due to its natural origin, brings organic expressions to the home, and the treated wood with its grain and unique texture gives the lamp an excess of naturalness.
The natural contributes to the domestic. For example, if you live in a very bright room with white walls and a subdued interior, wood is a great way to introduce some warmth into the room; warmth and life that will first and foremost emphasise itself, but then accentuate the light around it. For this purpose, we would recommend a darker wood species, as it will further contrast and beautify the surrounding area. Woods such as oak, mahogany and walnut signal a calmness and elegance that is hard to match with other materials than themselves. The dark veins, intriguing textures and deep hue are a testament to both history and the strong trees from which the wood comes.
Conversely, you can introduce a lot of light, air and life with light coloured woods. Birch, ash and beech are lighter in colour and although they have plenty of texture like their darker counterparts, these light woods are less deep in colour and therefore appear lighter in the interior. They are great as bright colours in a dark interior - or in a busy interior.
