Black Lamps
Black can signal all sorts of things, depending on how you use the colour. Black signals shapeliness, class, elegance - but can also signal mystery, secrecy and authority. With a lamp in black, you ensure elegance and pure style first and foremost.
A black wall light or spotlight is stylish and anonymous enough to always fit into the room without getting lost. It's unobtrusive, but not anonymous. A black floor lamp, on the other hand, is more sculptural, sleek and elegant and, depending on the shape, can signal mystery, secrecy and curiosity.

Wall lights in black

Pendants in black
Black pendants are also popular for some of the same reasons, but with a black pendant you often get more mystery. Often pendants in black are sculptural and the black shade is used as the colour of a suit - to signal elegance and style.
