Christian Flindt
Born: 1972.\ Known works: Ripple chair, Orchid chair and Flindt lamp.\ Education: Architect.
Christian Flindt is new to Danish furniture design. He is a young and talented designer who originally trained as an architect at the Aarhus School of Architecture. After completing this programme, he studied in London and worked as an architect in Melbourne and London. In 2003, he started his own business.
He has designed a number of chairs, including the fibreglass chair Orchid and the Flindt lamps for Louis Poulsen. Christian Flindt's designs are bold and fresh, and he is a designer who shows that he is willing and daring.
Flindt has participated in a large number of Danish and international trade fairs, including "Formland" in 2004, "Tokyo Designers Block" in 2003, "Scandinavian Furniture Fair" in 2003, "Stockholm Furniture Fair" in 2003, "Habitat Dublin" and "Salone Satelitte" in 2003.
