Arne Jacobsen Ceilling Lamp
Arne Jacobsen was a world-famous architect with a passion for architecture that resulted in countless architectural marvels. These include Danmarks Nationalbank and SAS Royal Hotel and Terminal in Copenhagen. Over time, he realised his passion for lighting and has created several unique lamps, many of which have achieved the status of design icons all over the world.
Arne Jacobsen's ceiling lights look great in any room; living room, hallway, bedroom, etc. It is a beautiful alternative to the classic ceiling for those who appreciate the fantastic light in an almost artistic lamp. The AJ Eklipta Ceiling Light was designed in 1959 for Rødovre City Hall. At the time, it was designed in two different sizes with a diameter of 35 and 45 centimetres. Later came the smallest version of 22 centimetres, which was designed for St. Catherine's College in England. AJ Eklipta is particularly suitable for lighting staircases, either as a ceiling or wall luminaire, where it provides a uniform diffused light.
